"ain't nobody fresh as me"

Fresh.

If asked to describe my life @ the moment in one word, I would choose FRESH.

No, not "I just got out of the shower" fresh, just.... fresh.

How do I explain that...?

I'm HAPPY.

Do I sound crazy yet?! Yes.

I just feel like new things are coming at me from all different directions and it's putting new life in me. I feel like for so long I was so down and finally some things and someone is breathing fresh air into my lungs. I got my car back, I started my cupcake business, I got a new job, I'm about to have one year old (a walking one year old, ahhhhh), I "met" a new... friend (:

I feel like it's finally.... my time.

I feel like the possibilities are becoming quite endless, I feel good, I feel optimistic, I feel solid, I feel like a giddy little school girl (did i just type that?!), I feel silly, I feel like... dancing! haha!

So it's been a little over a month and a half since I blogged, I'm failing at this... I'm aware.

In my defense.... SOOOO much has happened. I honestly don't even have the energy (read: patience) to type out everything that has happened. So I will just hit the highlights and leave the rest to the imagination (:

First off, I have finally done something about my cupcake obsession!

Landon has been thoroughly enjoying his first summer. He loves to be outside, and I love that he loves that! I got him the cutest lion swimming pool, it has a little fountain and everything, he loves to splash around.

We also took a trip to Toys R Us which i kinda thought would be over his head, and quickly reminded me not to underestimate my little guy. He LOVED it! He really loved sitting in all the big cars and looking at anything that made noise or lit up. I always remember going to Toys R Us with my family when we were younger and Blaine and I would play with anything we could, climb into the forts and houses, pull the bikes down and ride them around. So this trip to the toy store was a little nostalgic for mommy and a lotta fun for both of us (:

My best friend Rachel moved to Corpus and I can officially say the only good thing about losing your best friend to the beach is having a free place to stay at the beach! I got to have a mommy trip and go visit her the weekend of the 4th. It was some much needed mommy time but I certainly missed my little guy. I cannot wait to take him down there, he is going to LOVE it! Splashing around in the water and digging in the sand are going to be right up his alley.

I am now planning a 1st birthday... WHAT!

I will be honest, I am planning, designing invites, picking cupcake flavors, buying monkey themed party supplies, shopping for birthday presents... and I really dont think it has REALLY hit me yet. I have this super embarrassing thought that I might cry at his party, so if your coming and I do start crying, just ignore the tears and act like everything is okay while I pull myself together (haha)
